Una foto - A picture

Bellissima coincidenza.

Sulla rivista gratuita di surf alla quale sono abbonato, e della quale dovrei parlare un pochino, c'e' una foto di una ragazza che surfa al National Park a Noosa!

Esattamente dove ho avuto i miei quindici minuti di gloria di cui ho parlato nel precedente post. Ed esattamente lo stesso tipo e grandezza d'onda.

La ragazza della foto e' pure mancina come me, e quindi sta dando la schiena all'onda.

Ma la sua postura rivela un controllo che io ancora mi sogno.

In ogni caso e' bello poter mostrare esattamente di cosa stessi parlando!

Inoltre sta usando, ovviamente, un longboard, come la mia tavola. E quindi posso anche facilmente farvi vedere come la tipa sia posizionata sulla coda del surf. Cosa di cui andavo parlando nei post precedenti.

Con la mano impone alla tavola di lottare contro l'acqua che la vuole fare adagiare sulla superficie e poi rotolare rovinosamente (io sarei ovviamente caduto) e una volta superata questa fase, ed il fotografo, sicuramente si alzera' in piedi e fara' almeno un passo in avanti per mettersi sull' effettivo punto di equilibrio della tavola.

In ogni caso, ad oggi, questa e' la grandezza d'onda ideale per me.

E non ditemi che e' piccola!

Beautiful coincidence.

On a free surfing magazine to which I subscribed, and of which I should talk later, there 's a picture of a girl who surfs the National Park in Noosa! Exactly where I had my fifteen minutes of fame that I mentioned in the previous post. And exactly the same type and size of the wave. Also, she’s  left-handed like me, and so she is giving her back to the wave. But her posture reveals a control that I am still dreaming about.

Whatever the case, it's nice to be able to show you exactly what I was talking about!

She has, of course, a longboard as mine. So that I can easily show you how the girl is positioned on the tail of the board. After the shot, I’m sure she stood up and made a few steps forward to get on the actual balance point of the board.

Anyway, that’s just the ideal wave size for me.

Don’t tell me it’s small, please!
