Waiting

 This is officially another la Nina year.

They say summer should see plenty of waves and more than 50% chances of at least 4 cyclones forming somewhere out at sea. (and a lot of rain, off course)

At the moment 2021 has been very surf-poor for me and there's no sign of any change yet.

Surfing makes me always longing for the next wave, the next session, the next week, the next month, the next season. The next anything. It seems it's never now. Almost never. Always waiting.

Let's wait for the summer then, for a change.

Experts say..

Questa estate, che inizia a breve, e' stata dichiarata ufficialmente stagione di La Nina.

Gli esperti dicono che arriveranno onde in quantita' e pure cicloni tropicali. Piu' del  50% di probabilita' di averne almeno 4, di cicloni. E pioggia, tanta pioggia.

Sino ad ora il 2021 e' stato molto povero di onde, per me. E a parte quello che dicono gli esperti, non ci sono segni di cambiamento, al momento.

Surfare mi fa vivere in costante desiderio della prossima onda, della prossima sessione, della prossima settimana, del prossimo mese, della prossima stagione. E' sempre la prossima volta, praticamente, mai adesso. Quasi mai adesso. Sempre in attesa.

Ed allora aspettiamo questa estate e la profezia di onde. Aspettiamo, tanto per cambiare.
